• Our Work

Established 2015, the following work is representative of our client and project portfolio.

    Financial PR

We love how fast this market races

Pinpoint PR has extensive financial and tech media relationships across the Asia Pacific region that we can leverage to push through company news. We can facilitate news stories, positioning announcements and key personnel appointments. From introductions to key media and personnel across in Singapore, Pinpoint PR can help raise awareness of your brand in the region, so that they are first to be called on for opinion or comment when newsworthy matters arise.

We have an extensive network of TV producers that we work with (BBC, Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters TV et al) that we can position your executives to for interviews. We also work with many of the event producers in the region and can position your spokespersons to speak at key events.

PINPOINT PR has one of the most comprehensive case studies for a financial PR campaign that a client could ask for. As starting from 2015Q1, we took OANDA from 800+ mentions globally in 2014, to 2,000 mentions a week by 2017Q3. 69% of that news was in Tier 1 international and national wires, broadcast and print news. For OANDA, we earned the Institute of Public Relations Singapore 2017 PRISM Award with Merit for 'Outstanding Overall Corporate Reputation Programme - International'.

    Technology & Emerging Technology PR

Tech PR is our first love

A B2B PR agency, Pinpoint PR has experience working with some of the world's leading technologists to put them on local and international news.

We've been privileged to work with people like Vint Cerf, Tuomo Suntola, Stuart Parkin, Silvio Micali and numerous other innovators who have spent their lives developing cutting edge technologies. We've also worked with people that earned Academy Awards from their work in film making.

Among others, our clients include the National Research Foundation (startups), IPI Singapore (brokerage), Hitachi Vantara for Southeast Asia (enterprise tech), TrustYou (travel tech) and Horangi Cyber Security, OANDA and OliveFX (trading platforms) and ARM (semiconductors), Horangi (cybersecurity), TSC.ai and LogiNext (machine learning, AI).

Another case study is that PINPOINT PR helped launch a digital gold company, Copernicus Gold, who managed to acquire over 2,000 customers in 40 markets within 3 months of launch. We had them in Tier 1 international news, which was presented online, lending the company great credibility and boosting their brand search-ability.

    Science PR

OMG. The people we work with!

Pinpoint PR has broad and detailed work experience with some of the world's leading scientists to put them on local and international news.

Many of the scientists we've worked are impressed by our ability to express their work in layman's terms. We regularly get scientists on Tier 1 media, because we research the heck out of their work and figure out how we can apply their expertise to current news.

From Mathematicians to Astronomers and Physicists, Chemists and Biologists, to a Princess that lobbies for Women In Science, we've covered most of what Science stands for. People we've represented include Frances Arnold, pictured above (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2018); Barry Barish (Nobel Prize in Physics 2016); and Efim Zelmanov (Fields Medal 1994). it's not easy to get such people on mainstream news, but we always find a way.

Our clients include the National Research Foundation Singapore, which has engaged our agency to conduct PR for their key events since 2016 including the Global Young Scientists Summit, the Commonwealth Science Conference and the Singapore Week of Innovation and TeCHnology (SWITCH).

We've also worked with L'Oreal for their For Women In Science programme and MIT Technology Review for their Innovators Under 35 programme.

    Events PR

When you need pre-event publicity, we amp up your event.

Over the course of three years and executing PR for more than 40 key exhibitions and conferences, we’ve honed a content-led approach for pre-event PR (an organisers’ biggest challenge).

Key event and project clients include the National Research Foundation for the Global Young Scientists Summit (GYSS) (2017-2019); the Commonwealth Science Conference 2017; and SWITCH 2018. IPI Singapore for TechInnovation (2016-2019). Koelnmesse for EmTech Asia and EmTech Hong Kong (2013- 2019), IDEM 2018, and SIGGRAPH Asia (2016-2019); Informa for Vitafoods Asia (2018-2019), among many more.

Several of the events we've worked on, like Emtech Asia 2017 and Vitafoods Asia 2018, have gone on to win marketing and PR awards.

Daniela Elia, Head of Marketing for Informa, said “In 2018, we chose to change our PR agency and work with Pinpoint PR for Vitafoods Asia 2018 because of their content-led approach. They did an excellent job not only on the PR, but also in extending the audience and engagement for our social media accounts. Some of the communications initiatives we trialled with Vitafoods Asia will now carry across to other events we organise.”

    Public Affairs

We have deep public affairs experience

Over the course of our careers, the directors of PINPOINT PR have gained experience working with multiple public agencies in Singapore. These include government, charities and similar entities.

We especially have a network of contacts and work experience with the startup community and emerging technology ecosystem in Singapore - the startups, blue sky researchers, commercial entities and the VCs that fund them. This experience has come part and parcel with our customer relationships with entities such as the National Research Foundation-Prime Ministers Office, Singapore; IPI Singapore; IDMA, and A*STAR among others through events such as SWITCH, the Global Young Scientists Summit, TechInnovation and EmTech Asia.

    Tertiary Education PR

PINPOINT PR has undertaken several tertiary education PR projects and clients.

We are currently representing LASALLE College of the Arts, and the past we have had an array of education clients, such as the Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management and Laureate Hospitality Education. We've worked on project with clients such as National University of Singapore for the APAIE 2018 Conference and Exhibition.
